The shop is situated in the old town close to St.Mary's Church and the Prospect, with it's magnificent views over the Wye valley towards Wales. We are open to the public Wednesday to Saturday, 10-5. We are planning on retiring from the shop this summer, but will continue to trade from home on www.springwellbooks.co.uk with a specialist stock of maps, prints, books, guides and ephemera relating to U.K. Topography.

  Phil.Thredder has been buying and selling secondhand and antiquarian books, maps and prints for over 30 years. Starting out in London he has been a member of the P.B.F.A. since it's early days, and has been running this shop with his wife, Sarah for over 20 years.
