• Payment : We can accept most credit /debit cards, UK pound Sterling Cheques/travellers cheques. For orders outside the UK the preferable method of payment is credit/debit card as this gives an automatic currency exchange and provides a good level of protection for both buyer and seller. We charge in UKPounds which is then converted to your local currency on your credit card statement. Card details can be left with your address and order details on our Secure Server: hosted by Secure Hosting Ltd., who use a 128 bit Thawte SSL certificate to ensure secure transmission of your information

Orders are usually sent within two days of confirmation of the order.

• Postage: Post is charged at cost and will be quoted at the time of ordering. Orders over £50 will be sent post and insurance paid in the U.K., and insurance paid in the rest of the world. Maps are priced to include postage in the U.K, or £1.50 to the rest of the world.
• Insurance: Parcels can be tracked. A map sent by Airsure will cost £5 . Books (up to 30kg) sent by Parcelforce48 in the U.K., including insurance up to £150, will cost £7 (free on orders over £50). Insurance on parcels outside the U.K. will cost £5.

Maps are sent first class in the U.K. or air-mail abroad either in a stiffened flat packet or, for larger items, in a strong tube. Special delivery (in U.K.) with a guaranteed 24 hour delivery, costs £4. Airsure costs £5 extra. Delivery within the UK is normally within 6days day, outside the UK times vary usually between 3 and 21days.

Books are a little heavier and their weights are included in the listings. There is usually a choice of methods, first class/Parcelforce in the U.K. , airmail or surface mail outside the U.K. with different levels of insurance. Rates and conditions can be obtained through U.K.Post Offices or we will quote on request. Orders over £50 will be insured. Typical costs are as follows

To send a book weighing 1Kg £4 U.K., £5.50 surface mail printed paper rate (worldwide except Europe), £5.50 airmail to Europe, £10.50 aimail printed paper worldwide (Australia and Canada limit for printed paper rate is 2kg). Larger Parcels up to 25Kg can be sent within the U.K. for £7. For Parcels up to 25Kg worldwide, apply for rates.

• Privacy: To confirm with the requirements of the Data Protection Act, 1988, we do not keep electronic databases of our customers, any details sent by e-mail are deleted after opening and details printed off are destroyed after use. Invoices are hand written and kept separately from credit card slips. We do not send random marketing e-mails (spam) nor use 'cookies'.
